Our customer was looking for a set of timber doors to be installed on a new build property near Stow on the Wold.

He was looking for automated operation and so we installed with a Novomatic 563 motor. As the door is opened by remote control a handle was not required and the customer chose to not have a handle fitted.

We are often asked to convert two single door openings into one large double opening. Depending on whether the centre pillar is load bearing or not this can be either a simple task or you may need to involve a builder. If a one piece steel RSJ runs across the entire opening, then we would probably be able to simply remove the centre pillar and install the new door. If you are unsure we we recommend contacting a builder for advice.
